Structured Delivery and Project Control
Site Set-up
A successful project relies on a well-organised site setup, managed by dedicated personnel and guided by our detailed site policy manual to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency throughout.
Project Execution Tracker
The Project Execution Tracker is the method we use to recognise and address unresolved details related to the project. It ensures timely decisions and accountability at every level.
Finishes Schedule
Our Finishes Schedules are utilised to clearly track all finishes, fixtures, and fittings selections. All approvals are captured within this document for transparency and audit purposes.
Drawing Issue Sheets
This is our primary design control document register. It records all necessary drawings for the contract and keeps track of updates to ensure everyone uses the most recent versions, which is crucial during the construction phase.
Progress Reports
Our construction managers generate comprehensive weekly reports for each project. These provide vital updates on design tasks, programme adjustments, health and safety incidents, financial standing, and any other factors that may influence the project’s timely and successful completion.
Cost & Change Management
MGL Projects ensures transparent, fair cost management. We reject profit-driven variations, benchmarking all changes against pre-contract and historical rates. Every cost adjustment is clearly documented, providing clients with full visibility and confidence in accurate, reasonable project pricing.
Supply Chain
MGL Projects holds the primary contractual obligation for the project’s completion. However, we have the backing of two vital support layers:
- Professional Advisors (Structural Engineers, Acoustician’s, Health and Safety, Building Control, etc.)
- Our extensive network of subcontractors, all of whom have previously collaborated with MGL Projects on numerous other projects.
The choice and oversight of subcontractors play a pivotal role in ensuring the project’s triumph, especially when it comes to aligning the final output with the client’s vision.
