Kensington High Street Café Fit-Out with Complete Design & Build Delivery
MGL successfully delivered a full design and build fit-out for Joe & The Juice at Kensington High Street, working in close partnership with the brand’s internal construction and design team to ensure strict adherence to brand standards and operational requirements.
The scope included bespoke bar cladding and joinery, upgraded kitchen fabrication for both front-of-house and back-of-house areas, new tiled flooring, timber panelling, and decorative wall finishes. Exposed ceilings and services were installed and finished to complement the design aesthetic, while new mechanical systems were seamlessly integrated with landlord infrastructure.
Additional works comprised internal and external signage, supply and installation of furniture, and implementation of fire safety systems. Landlord coordination and day-to-day permit management were handled proactively to prevent delays and maintain programme integrity.
Solution
To ensure successful delivery, MGL worked in close collaboration with Joe & The Juice’s internal construction and design team, maintaining alignment with brand standards and operational requirements throughout the project. Robust programme management was implemented to coordinate multiple work streams and sustain momentum across all phases of the fit-out.
Logistics and site operations were carefully planned to manage deliveries and subcontractor activities within restricted site conditions, preventing congestion and delays. Mechanical systems were integrated seamlessly with landlord infrastructure while preserving the intended design aesthetic.
A rigorous quality control process, combined with comprehensive compliance checks, ensured all fire safety and operational requirements were met ahead of handover, enabling a smooth transition to full functionality.
