Fast-Track Retail Design & Build for Westfield Store
Created a bespoke concept inspired by the original brand identity for a new retail store in Westfield. MGL assumed full design and build responsibility, including complete management and delivery of all landlord and client approval requirements. The project timeline was critical, with completion required within three weeks.
To maintain budget control and accelerate the construction programme, the existing retailer’s mechanical system was utilised, ensuring efficiency without compromising quality.
Solution
All bespoke joinery was manufactured off-site and delivered in large elements to maximise speed and reduce programme congestion among subcontractors.
Clear communication with the Westfield team was essential for design and construction approvals, as well as day-to-day logistics—particularly for oversized deliveries of joinery display units.
Programme management was critical given the short construction timeline, ensuring all workstreams remained coordinated and on schedule.
